🎓 Webinar #6: Culturally Responsive Pedagogy

This Saturday, we are honored to welcome Dr. Hanni Hnin Ein (Zara Chen) — a doctor-turned-educator whose work bridges science education, youth empowerment, digital learning, and culturally responsive teaching.

Dr. Zara graduated with an M.B.,B.S degree from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon before pursuing her passion for education. She recently completed an MA in Education (Science) at University College London UCL.
She is also:
✨ An alumna of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI)
✨ A Chevening Awards scholar

With over 10 years of teaching and leadership experience, she has worked at the intersection of education, innovation, and youth development.
Her contributions include:
• Project Manager for the Physics Dattinpone Augmented Reality Learning App at 360ed
• Teaching Science and English at Strategy First Education Group and Waso Learn
• Serving as Academic Administrator and Head of the Science Department at EDUSN International School

Beyond the classroom, she has been actively engaged in youth development since 2013 through initiatives such as the Yangon Youth Forum and the ASEAN Youth Forum, and currently volunteers with Myanmar Youth Initiative.

In this webinar, Dr. Zara will explore how culturally responsive pedagogy can help educators create inclusive classrooms where every student’s identity, culture, and voice are valued.
