We are thrilled to celebrate nine exceptional educators from the Myanmar TESOL Organisation (MmTESOL) who completed the prestigious Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) in 2023, all thanks to the full sponsorship of the British Council Myanmar. Through an intensive 120-hour program that included hands-on teaching practice, these graduates honed their skills in innovative teaching techniques, lesson planning, and classroom management, earning a globally recognised qualification.
Now fully supported by the British Council Myanmar, these educators are poised to elevate English language teaching across Myanmar, from bustling urban centers like Yangon to remote rural communities. Their expertise not only enhances English proficiency but also fosters cross-cultural understanding, contributing to Myanmar’s educational and economic growth.
